If so, you should definitely make sure that whatever you’re reading this on is waterproof! If you haven’t been sold on getting into a pool yet, then you’re in the right place. Here are a few more reasons that swimming is great for your health!
Full Body. When you get into a pool and start swimming, every part of your body is being used. Your arms and legs both help to propel you through the water, your core is used to keep your body level and straight, your back is used when you move your arms, and those problem areas begin to shrink away. Very few things are full body workouts the way that swimming is, especially given the fact that it is such a low impact sport/work out.
Flexibility. Due to the workout that swimming gives you, it will naturally stretch your joints to allow for a greater range of motion. Even if you aren’t fully swimming, you can simply use the water to do some of the stretches you try to do on dry land. We are certain that after a little while you will notice that you are more flexible both in and out of the water. Who doesn’t want that?

In fact, just a half hour in a pool a day can reduce the risk of heart disease by as much as forty percent as well as reduce your blood pressure.
